Much of the difficulty of hooligans has been solved within the Stadium, but it seems to have been transferred into the streets.
Several times this season groups of louts wearing helmets and carrying painted walking sticks have attacked visiting supporters returning to their motor coaches in Drayton Park.
We also had dreadful behaviour in Bristol when similar groups attacked local residents, smashed up shops etc; apart from damage to railway carriage.
The final disgrace when they rampaged through the streets of Fulham recently attacking people at the railway station, smashing up vending machines. The worst incident when a young Fulham fab was taken to hospital with head wounds and a knife wound in the back.
This conduct puts these people into the category of the Nazis.
From the start of next season all banners , canes and sticks will be prohibited from this stadium. | |
